The Bible encourages you to learn about spiritual gifts. Indeed, it even urges you to desire them. For example, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, began to teach a church about them, saying, “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware” (1 Cor 12:1). And then he told them this: “So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church” (1 Cor 14:12). And “But earnestly desire the greater gifts” (1 Cor 12:31).

And so we see, that there are spiritual gifts; that we should not be unaware of them; that we should seek them zealously and earnestly, especially for the purpose of edifying a church. But like the church in Corinth, are you zealous for spiritual gifts? Are you fervently seeking them? Are you abounding, that is overflowing, with spiritual talents for the purpose of building up a church in the spirit, spiritually?

Now, there is a lot of confusion over the gifts of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts. For example, what are they? Who has them? What gifts do I have? Can I have all of them? Who gives them? Etc. But when you complete this introductory quiz on spiritual gifts (and all Level 3 studies on spiritual gifts), you will begin to know the answers to these questions and more.

I encourage you to study spiritual gifts and to earnestly desire them so that you can more powerfully build up a Christian church in Spirit. Rick David, an Evangelist & Author of FreeBibleStudy.org
